As part of Gillman Barracks 2nd Anniversary celebrations, Gillman Barracks hosts an outdoor festival on 26 September 2014, from 6pm to 10pm. The festival features music performances, live art installations, a pop-up market and a myriad of food and beverage offerings. 
In addition to the 17 international galleries, who will be open till late for the night, the festival will feature multi-genre musical performances by local musicians. Performers such as .gif, Take Two, The Lost Hat and ANECHOIS will entertain audiences with experimental electronic, post-progressive rock and indie-pop, to rousing gypsy-flamenco tunes.
An arts and design market, curated by The Local People SG, will showcase an array of handmade goods, prints, illustrations and more for the public to take home. Art installations will be dotted across the venue, by local up-and-coming artists, designers and illustrators, and will include an interactive chalk mural for visitors to get involved. The anniversary will also feature the launch of DRIVE, a Gillman Barracks-wide public art project. 
In conjunction with the anniversary celebrations, Reyka Vodka will also be holding their inaugural Reyka Art Exhibition. The showcase aims to provide a platform for Singapore’s arts and design community to express their creativity through installations inspired by Reyka and Iceland; its unique birthplace. Five artists will be chosen to participate in this exhibition and their work will be on display at the venue.

DRIVE

DRIVE is a four-month long, Gillman-wide Public Art Festival displaying works from Gillman galleries' artists, international artists, and the public. DRIVE pays homage to the vibrant arts infrastructure in Singapore today. A curated festival of public art installations, incorporating an open-call competition for artists and members of the public, DRIVE is a display of the best in both local and international art, with works ranging from wall murals, to sculpture, to multi-media installations.

Outdoor Music Festival

The 2nd Anniversary brings you a multi-genre Singapore Music Festival featuring local talents from the Rock, Indie, Electronic and Alternative music scene. Headliners include ANECHOIS, The Lost Hat, Take Two and .gif.

Local Market

Curated by The Local People SG, the pop-up market features designers and artists that produce high quality handcrafted products from hand-stitched leather goods to illustrated prints and silkscreen paper.

Pop-up Restaurants & Bars

The event introduces pop-up dining and bar experiences with a variety of signature food and cocktails $12 and under. Supported by Reyka Vodka and Elite Bar Solutions.
