This exhibition is putting abstract works from various generation of artists mainly from South East Asia as its highlight as an attempt to trace back into its own history. And also, especially through subsequent projects, of its insertion into the broader context of Asian abstraction. Hopefully these exhibitions will trigger a wider discussion about abstract/abstraction relevancy in contemporary Asia.
The show is curated by Hermanto Soerjanto and is featuring prominent artists from all over Asia including H. Widayat, Nasirun, Yunizar, M.Irfan, Yusra Martunus & more
