Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore as the Presenting Institution for the Singapore Art Book Fair 2014
CCA Singapore is the Presenting Institution of the second edition of the Singapore Art Book Fair. Alongside the extensive line-up of local and international publishers, we will present a curatorial programme exploring the activity of art publishing and highlight its ability to embrace new formats of production and distribution.
The fair will be held at Block 43, Gillman Barracks.

CCA Singapore Curatorial Programme
CCA Singapore’s curatorial programme explores the activity of art publishing in all its diverse aspects from a professionalised industry to self-led endeavor; from an artistic to a curatorial medium. The series of events and presentations bring forward recent developments in the field of art publishing and highlights its ability to embrace new formats of production and distribution. The Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA Singapore) is a research centre of Nanyang Technological University, developed with support from the Economic Development Board, Singapore. Located in Gillman Barracks alongside a cluster of international galleries, CCA Singapore is led by Founding Director Professor Ute Meta Bauer. CCA Singapore takes a holistic approach towards art and culture, intertwining its three platforms: Exhibitions, Residencies and Research.
CCA Singapore positions itself as a centre for critical discourse and experimental practices for Singapore, the region and beyond. It aims to play an active role within the local art scene, as well as being a part of the development of regional and international art infrastructures.
