a surge in consumer demands. When luxury becomes a worldwide aspiration, it is not hard to
imagine that consumption inevitably becomes a cultural value of civilisation.
Drawing the narrative from humanity’s progressive alienation from the natural world and
towards the artificial. ’Where are we going: do we want to arrive?’ invites us to reconsider the
reality that we inhabit by examining the rites and rituals of humankind.
In this exhibition, watch selected paintings come alive as the artist has merged traditional
paintings with augmented reality (AR). Blurring the lines between the digital and the real,
viewers are asked to draw meaning from the experience, which hints at the transforming
course of how we may come to relate with our physical environment.
