Stephen Leong, 'Fight With The COVID 19', 2020
The artwork is dedicated to the courage of Singapore's healthcare workers during the pandemic, with thoughtful elements representing multiple facets of the fight against the COVID-19 virus. Black and red was used to convey the aggresiveness of the unseen enemy, while the representations of the hospital staff with determined expressions is a tribute to their dedication to serve the nation despite the fears.
