> ONLINE GALLERY > Isometric Model for a Longhouse

This is a drawing of a model of a proposed sculpture of an imagined longhouse. Traditionally, longhouses in the Malay Archipelago would hold multi generational family units. In such strange times where most of us are confined to our houses, the artist chose the longhouse to express the idea of collective solidarity through these difficult times. We are all in the same house.
