On finding comfort in intimate moments and closeness from virtually experienced human connection — in times where we have to be physically apart.

About the artist
Clarice Ng is an artist and illustrator whose work explores the intimacy that exists within an artist-audience relationship. Through her practice, she creates interactive and multi-sensory works that often take on the form of installations, publications and ceramics. She is interested in facilitating experiences centred around vulnerability, solitude and human connection through manipulating text, sound, social and spatial elements into visual forms. Considering the audience as a central part of her practice, Clarice prioritises participation, engagement and sees the audience as a co-author in fully realising her works. She graduated from Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London in 2019 with a First Class Honours in Illustration.
