Guided Tours: No Country: Contemporary Art for South and Southeast Asia

Join us for free, docent-led tours of the No Country exhibition. Guided tours are led by experienced docents and explore the exhibition themes of borders, identity and nationhood.

Guided tours are available from 17 May–20 July, Wednesday to Saturday. There will be a maximum of three daily tours on weekdays. Once 3 of the 4 slots have been booked, no further bookings will be accepted for that day.

Docent Tours
Sat: 3.00–4.00 pm and 4.30–5.30 pm
Wed–Fri: 12.00–1.00 pm or 2.30–3.30 pm

Guided Tours in Japanese
Thur: 2.30–3.30pm

School Tours
CCA offers two options for student groups to visit. Whether you would like to explore on your own or participate in a guided experience, we are certain that you will find a program that is right for you and your students. School groups can book either a Docent-led tour or a Self-Guided (teacher led) tour.

 

School Tour (Docent-Led) School Tour (Teacher-Led)
Guided tours are facilitated by Friends of the Museum, Singapore, a group of dedicated volunteers who have completed extensive training. Tours are designed to foster active learning and engage students in careful observation and the development of language and critical-thinking skills. All tours can be adapted to accommodate students with special needs. Teacher led tours allow for teachers to lead their own tours for up to twenty students.

Wed–Fri: 12.00–1.00 pm or 2.30–3.30pm
Teacher Led
Wed-Fri: 1.00–2.30 pm or 4.00–5.30 pm

The NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore is a research centre of Nanyang Technological University, developed with support from the Economic Development Board, Singapore. Located in Gillman Barracks alongside a cluster of international galleries, the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore Singapore is led by Founding Director Professor Ute Meta Bauer. The NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore takes a holistic approach towards art and culture, intertwining its three platforms: Exhibitions, Residencies and Research & Education.

The NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore positions itself as a centre for critical discourse and experimental practices for Singapore, the region and beyond. It aims to play an active role within the local art scene, as well as being a part of the development of regional and international art infrastructures.
