Tomio Koyama Gallery, founded by Tomio Koyama (Owner and Director) in 1996 introduces both emerging and established artists from Japan and the world. The gallery has been participating in numerous art fairs from 2001 including the Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel Hong Kong, Frieze London, Frieze NY, Art Stage Singapore, Art Taipei and so on. Other than the main gallery located in the east side of Tokyo, the gallery has two more spaces in central Tokyo of Shibuya and at Gillman Barracks in Singapore. Representing not only Japanese artists, such as Kishio Suga and Mika Ninagawa, but also many international artists, such as Ryan McGinley and Richard Tuttle, the gallery focuses on introducing the artists both domestically and internationally.
Tomio Koyama Gallery Singapore located at Gillman Barracks was opened in 2012. The gallery not only introduces Japanese artists to the region but also contributes to the collaboration with the regional art scene.
